The United States has approved a new military aid package worth approximately $3 billion for Israel, further reinforcing long-standing defence ties between the two nations.

According to U.S. officials, the funding will support Israel’s ongoing military modernization and operational readiness.

The package is reported to include financing for advanced weapons systems, air defence capabilities, and logistical support.

Israel remains one of the largest recipients of U.S. foreign military assistance.

The latest aid allocation falls under Washington’s broader security commitments to Israel, which are structured through multi-year defence agreements designed to maintain Israel’s qualitative military edge in the region.

While full details of the package have not been publicly disclosed.

U.S. authorities stated the assistance is intended to strengthen regional deterrence and ensure Israel’s ability to respond to evolving security threats.

The approval comes amid continued instability in the Middle East and follows previous U.S. commitments to provide sustained military and strategic support to Israeli defence forces.

Washington has emphasized that the aid aligns with existing bilateral security frameworks and does not represent a shift in policy, but rather the continuation of established defence cooperation.

Israel has not yet publicly outlined how the funding will be allocated across specific programs.
