The German government has placed a order for an additional 20 H145M attack helicopters.

The German military has placed a total order of 82 H145M attack helicopters from Airbus.

These new attack helicopters are replacing Germany's fleet of Tiger attack helicopters that they currently have 51 of.

Germany could be working on a possible deal to give Germany's retired Tiger attack helicopters to Ukraine alongside with Australia doing the same.

The full fleet of 82 is expected to be completed before 2035.
