In Ipswich Queensland Australia there is a factory making 100s of Boxer AFV for Australia and Germany. Germany has placed an ordered with Australia for over a 100 AFV. The fleet is expected to be complete by 2030 and the first few vehicles coming off the line in 2026.

This deal is a win win for both countries; Australia had already planned on making over 200 Boxers for the Australian army but now Australia can increase it's defence industry with EU and NATO allies. Germany has cut cost and time by having Australia made the AFV for them and increases military cooperation between Australia and Germany.
