New military helicopters for Australia

The Australian army has just recently received their second delivery of Apache attack helicopters from the United States. Back in October of 2025 Australia took delivery of it's first 2 Apaches from the US.

The Australian government has purchased 29 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters from the United States. As of November 2025, Australia has a fleet of 4 Apaches. Both deliveries were completed by the United States Airforce using C-17 Globemaster's.
The Apache fleet is expected to be complete by 2029. Australia's new helicopters will be stationed at RAAF Base Townsville.
